Family
We build together, supporting each other and making time to communicate. Respect and responsibility guide how we work and nurture this shared project.
OUR STORY · SINCE 2022
In 2022, we bought a piece of land in Saint-Eustache. “We bought a patch of grass!” we would joke. For us, it was the beginning of a shared life project.

Growing at our own scale.
Sharing in our own way.
IT BEGAN WITH A WISH TO BUILD
This undeveloped land gave us room to imagine a diverse, lasting family farm on a human scale. We wanted to build it together, with the freedom to learn and the time to do things thoughtfully.
The orchard, our first crops and the bees gave the project shape. Each season brought achievements, experiments and adjustments. Even the harvests that did not go as planned helped us understand the land and move at its pace.
A FEW CHAPTERS OF OUR STORY
We acquire the land in Saint-Eustache. We take time to observe the site, understand the soil, explore its possibilities and begin planning a family farm on a human scale.
We think through the different areas of the land and organize its development in stages. It is also the year we get married, giving this shared adventure an even more personal meaning.
Alexe begins a certificate in horticulture at Université Laval, bringing new knowledge to the way we think about crops and their surroundings.
While preparing for permanent crops, we harvest hay. We plant our first 40 apple trees — Pink Lady and Golden Delicious — install our first hives and complete the land drainage work.
Our first attempt at growing garlic does not bring the results we had hoped for. That lesson is part of our story, too.
We install a farm shed for tools, storage and crop preparation, with financial support from La Financière agricole. We add hives and plant 60 more apple trees.
We level some areas to prepare for what comes next, harvest hay again and grow and harvest soybeans for the first time. We also continue organizing the spaces for crops, the orchard and beekeeping.

WHAT GUIDES US
We build together, supporting each other and making time to communicate. Respect and responsibility guide how we work and nurture this shared project.
Caring for the soil and ensuring the farm’s continuity shape our decisions. What we put in place today should be able to serve the generations that follow.
We seek a balance between our farming activities, wildlife, plants and the place we call home. Observing the land helps us move forward thoughtfully.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND GOAL
We bring together scientific knowledge,
thoughtful management and respect for the land
in one shared life project.
Godefroy brings a desire to turn ideas into practical steps. Specializing in strategic planning, organizational transformation and continuous improvement, he draws on Lean Six Sigma and Agile practices to structure the farm’s development.
His organizational skills and methodical approach help us move forward in stages. His long-term vision keeps us focused on building a shared life project guided by values of care for people and lasting stewardship.
Alexe brings her scientific perspective and attentiveness to living things. Trained in animal health technology at Collège Lionel-Groulx and a biology graduate from Université de Montréal, she has also completed training in horticulture at Université Laval.
Her interests connect animal health, plants, ecosystems and agriculture. In our everyday work, she helps us see the farm as a whole, with care for the well-being of animals and crops alike.
THE NEXT CHAPTER
We are continuing to develop our beekeeping, honey, services and educational activities. The pollinator garden is taking shape gradually, to support pollinators and enrich these moments of discovery.
We also want to begin building connections with researchers and organizations. We hope to explore how our land, hives and observations could contribute to beekeeping research projects, through collaborations we would develop together.
Insect hotels are in preparation. Our asparagus, berry and small-fruit growing projects are planned for 2027 and will develop gradually, at the pace of the land.
